The Arlyn M. Garside Collection was a collection donated by Kelly Garside. This collection contains

materials pertaining to the life of Arlyn Garside both personal and professional. Arlyn was a

police detective for Ogden city for many years, and the collection contains correspondence,

photos, police reports, his notebooks and mug shots related to his job. It also contains personal

photos and a scrapbook.

This collection contains correspondence between Charles, his wife Ida, their families and friends. It also houses some of Charles’s photographs. The bulk of the photograph collection is taken from 5x7 glass plate negatives. Boxes 6-11, contain glass plate negatives taken by Charles housed in negative sleeves.

This collection contains photographs and newspaper clippings on scrapbook pages about various Ogden topics. Many of the images are unidentified so they are sorted by topic.

Dedication ceremonies information for the Harrison Boulevard Extension, Ogden, Utah. Includes

dedication program for October 7, 1966, photocopies of newspaper articles, and photographs of

the ceremonies.

Police file photographs of Ogden, Utah prostitutes who worked at the Dixie Rooms on Grant Avenue. Photographs were taken April 9 and September 6, 1940 and June 18, 1941. Black and white, 3 x6.
